Botanica Wines – Our Favorite South African Winery

Join us for an exciting evening as we showcase Botanica Wines from South Africa, a favorite of ours! Fun fact: Liana, our owner, built our first wines by the glass menu around Botanica’s Big Flower Cab Franc – it’s her favorite pour in the bar! This event is open house style – so please come when it’s convenient for you!

About Botanica Wines: Founded in 2009 by the adventurous Ginny Povall, an American who fell in love with the stunning Cape winelands, Botanica Wines is a testament to her passion. After purchasing the Protea Heights farm in Stellenbosch’s Devon Valley and moving to South Africa in 2008, Ginny infused her winemaking with botanical inspiration. The estate now grows eight varieties of proteas, including four unique hybrid species, primarily for export to Europe.
